The Beer Trap campaign got off to a sodden start, with a few nights of rain keeping the rats inside and the traps empty. However things have recently dried up and as a result the traps are snapping with increasing frequency! So far Vic Uni students have nabbed 16 rats and 3 hedgehogs. That is almost enough for a good night out at the Hunter Lounge for the Vic Uni Science Society. Dozens of mice have also been killed, which is surprising as they normally evade the larger traps.
